This work features text by Nigel Prince, Adam Sutherland and former FACT curator Ceri Hand.
Juneau Projects make interactive and collaborative works, utilizing
elements of video, sound, installation and performance in their art.
They have also created CDs, radio broadcasts, magazine publications,
new typefaces for graphic design and an on-line record label. Their
practice is rooted in the Romantic tradition, at once developing ideas
of the sublime in nature and investigating the shortfall in our
relationship with technology and its place in the natural world. This
catalogue accompanies their exhibition at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham;
Wysing Arts Centre, Bourn; Model Arts & Niland Gallery, Sligo;
FACT, Liverpool; and Glynn Vivian Art gallery, Swansea.
